The Danville MPO will hold a virtual informational meeting on a planning study for the Piney Forest Road corridor on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 6:30—7:45 PM.
The study area extends from Holt Garrison Parkway (vicinity of Coleman Marketplace) 2.6 miles north to Franklin Turnpike. The purpose of the study is to identify strategies and improvements to address existing and future traffic congestion, safety concerns, and the ability to more comfortably walk, bicycle, and use transit in the corridor. Public feedback is encouraged and is a crucial part of the development of this study.
