The Danville MPO, in concert with consulting firm EPR, PC, has launched a survey seeking input from the general public as part of its process to update the MPO area’s Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The LRTP puts forth transportation project recommendations for the City of Danville and the adjacent portion of Pittsylvania County which include road improvements, bike and pedestrian projects, and transit (bus) enhancements.
While the transportation professionals can create a plan, we need YOU to provide input so that we can develop the most effective transportation recommendations for our region. The survey should take you about 10 minutes to complete and includes two parts: several survey questions, followed by an interactive map that allows you to pinpoint where in the region you feel a transportation need or concern exists.
